Price: around 50 kn in the cellar

A bloody orange glow shines from one of the best rose wines of Croatia that left a mark witht eh 2013 harvest.

Marginally different than the 2013 harvest, the 2015 Opolo is also a wine of a different dynamic. Although drinkable, it is not so much a wine of quick sips. Notably different than the usually phenomenal rose wines from Plavina and Lasina, but also other Dalmatian roses based on Plavac.

The essence of a Šibenik Babić is shown in a different intensity with every new sip. Sweet-salty range of raw fruit meatness dominated by pomegranate with its tannin grip.

With lamb roast and potatoes or tuna steak? Depends on the day and mood. It is certain this wine is worthy of special attention. I took a pack and spent it already 🙂 And the wine is just becoming interesting.
