Belje Winery in Kneževi Vinogradi

Total Croatia News

A touristic visit to Belje Wines is best begun in the vineyard. The lookout on Banovo hill is surrounded by millions of vines and is a true spot to relax and enjoy the view of fertile vineyards and Croatian Danube region. The lookout is reached via a road that winds through plantations of vines all the way to the new winery in the heart of 650 hectares of Belje vineyards.

The tasting room awaits you at the entrance to the old cellar mentioned in the descriptions of the Mohačka battle of 1526. On two levels in the cellar, Premium and Goldberg wines age in wooden barrels before going out into the world or at least to the Kormoran restaurant in the nearby Nature Park Kopački Rit. Carp, catfish and perch specialties from Drava and Danube rivers, stews and wild game meals will go perfectly with Belje wines.
