Šember Family Unveils Two Million Kuna Sparkling Cellar

On last Friday, the Šember family from Donji Pavlovčani on Plešivica, the foremost region for sparkling wine production, prepared a celebration to present their new sparkling wine production cellar. Zdenko Šember belongs among the most important Croatian sparkling wine producers. The quality of his sparkling wines grows each year, and besides the bubbly wines we must mention his excellent Riesling Ice and complex macerated Rieslings.

The capacity of the new cellar is around 200 thousand bottles, on two levels. It is a 2.2 million kuna investment, which enables continuity and production development for the Šember family of the increasingly more popular sparkling wines. The celebration was attended by many individuals of the Zagreb wine scene, but also respected winemakers from other regions.
