The Eight Commissioner, a movie based on a novel of the same name, written by Renato Baretić, directed by Ivan Salaj will be filmed on various locations in the coming weeks. One of the locations is Velo Grablje on Hvar and the crew is on Hvar from today, March 1, until April 8, 2016.
According to Stari-Grad.hr, there is a need for 20 extras (10 men and 10 women), so any locals 60+, interested in working with the crew, can contact Antonio Škarpa ([email protected], 091/323- 4443) or Hana Hribar (091/342- 2242).
The movie is supported by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre and the European Cultural Foundation Creative Europe and produced by the MaXima film. This is what their official page says about the movie:
“Arrogant politician was sent to an isolated island as a trustee.
On the island reveals an unreal way of life, incredible characters and most importantly – himself…”
Velo Grablje is the place to be this winter, for sure. It IS all happening in Velo Grablje.
