Youth Hostel Villa Marija is open for summer! One of the first hostels in Hvar, Villa Marija has been recommended by Europe’s Famous Hostels as well as travel extraordinaire Rick Steves. Villa Marija is Hvar’s best-loved, award-winning and top rated hostel.
Recognized for years as one of the hottest and most social spots to stay while in Hvar, Villa Marija is located up the hill just a 15 minute walk from the center of Hvar town. With easy access to all the major attractions in the center, Villa Marija is also close to the best pebble beach in Hvar – only 400 meters away!
The hostel features a luxurious and swanky outdoor terrace with a swimming pool, being the only hostel in Hvar to boast a pool. Their outdoor terrace also comes equipped with a cocktail bar, creating the the perfect situation to mingle with like-minded international travelers. You can choose between air-conditioned high-standard dorms with en-suite bathrooms or modern and colourful private rooms, accompanied with balconies overlooking the sea. Each dorm has pin protected entrance and safety individual lockers that are free of charge to use. The hostel is also equipped with security cameras, a night security guard and a wristband policy which all the guests must be wearing during the entirety of their stay at Villa Marija.

Villa Marija is open for summer from May 1 – September 30 and is closed during the winter. Reception hours are 8h-23:30h, but there are overnight security guards that can help you with any needs after working hours.
