Railcar Factory Gredelj and Rail Transport of Montenegro have brokered a deal on the renovation of six passenger railcars, as a result of an international public tender
At the same time five refurbished and modernised cars were sent from Gredelj’s plants to Montenegro to be reintroduced to regular rail transport as soon as possible, Tportal.hr reports on June 17, 2016.
As part of this cooperation Gredelj has in the last few years made repairs for the Rail Transport of Montenegro of different complexity on over 40 passenger railcars, two electric trains and four locomotives. Therefore it is a realistic expectations that this successful trend will continue in the coming period with new business in Montenegro.
“I am satisfied the Rail Transport of Montenegro have shown confidence in TŽV Gredelj by entrusting us with this project. I believe that in the signing of this contract Gredelj has once again confirmed the high level of knowledge and capability of its experts and an extraordinary reputation and competitiveness in the building of new and maintenance of existing railway capacity on a demanding and very important Montenegro market.
