The summer cinema Tuškanac in Zagreb will be showing some of the best films as part of the Zagreb Film Festival.
What began last night, July 18 and will be running through Saturday, July 23, is the summer cinema Tuškanac hosted by the Zagreb Film Festival.
While we wait for the upcoming edition of the Zagreb Film Festival (which will be held from November 12-20), we can at least commemorate the achievements set out through the previous two editions of the festival by hosting nights at the summer cinema – and what better location than Tuškanac?
The program includes prior Zagreb Film Festival films such as last year’s laureate and Oscar-winning Son of Saul, the touching Turkish film Mustang which was awarded the LUX and compared to The Virgin Suicides, the explosive film about young girl gangs from Parisian suburbs Girlhood, and the terrifying telling of Ethiopian everyday life Difret.
Here is the full program:
Tuesday 19.7. – 21:30 – Difret (Hrabra djevojka)
Wednesday 20.7. – 21:30 – Son of Saul / Saul fia (Saulov sin)
Thursday 21.7. – 21:30 – Girlhood (Cure)
Friday 22.7. – 21:30 – Force Majeure (Turist)
