Ultra organizers confirmed on August 31, 2016 that the electronic music festival will indeed remain in Split for next year.
As most of us living in Split are familiar with the constant back and forth about if Ultra Europe will remain in Split or go to better offers from other European capitals, organizers have confirmed, albeit earlier than usual, that the Ultra 2017 event will be held in Split.
Next year’s festival will take place from July 13-19 in Croatia, with the first four days in Split and the last three days of the festival sent out to the islands for parties.
This year’s festival saw an unfortunate occurrence with heavy winds and hurricane like storms, ultimately having to cancel the first day’s events. Thanks to prepaid insurance, festival goers were granted a ticket refund for day 1 if those ticket holders were unable to participate in days 2 and 3.
