Ivan Dodig in Mixed Doubles Final at Australian Open

For Dodig and Mirza this will be their second final at a Grand Slam tournament, having played in the final of Roland Garros last year, when they lost to Swiss Martina Hingis and Indian Leander Paes.

Croatian tennis player Ivan Dodig made it to the final of the mixed doubles competition at the first Grand Slam tournament of the season, the Australian Open in Melbourne. Teamed with Indian Sania Mirza, they defeated domestic representatives Samantha Stosur and Samuel Groth 6-4, 2-6, 10-5 in the semi-finals, as Jutarnji List reported on January 27th, 2017.

Their opponents in the 2017 Australian Open final will be American Abigail Spears and Columbian Juan Sebastian Cabal, who beat Ukrainian Elina Svitolina and Australian Chris Guccione 7-6 (1), 6-2 in their semi-final.

The final is scheduled for Sunday January 29th at 16:00, Melbourne time.
