Miss Split-Dalmatia County will be chosen tonight for the running of Miss Croatia 2017!
Miss World is the world’s oldest beauty contest that began back in the UK in 1951. While Miss Croatia celebrates its 25th anniversary this year with many presentations of our Croatian beauties, tonight you can see who will represent Split-Dalmatia County for a chance at Miss Croatia 2017!
Ten young girls who, for the first time in the history of the county elections, will be selected from the castings held in Trogir, Imotski, Makarska, Sinj and Split.
Tonight, the girls will wear the creations of Croatian designers Dora Vukušić, Marina Glavinić, Anamarija Asanović and Iggy Popović. The jewelery has been specially made and presented by Antonela Ožić Bašić and Sanda Kardum. Petra Dubravac, Ivana Vladović and Gordana Čondić are in charge of makeup, and all 10 contestants will have their hair done by the team at hair salon Ljiljana Subašić. Beautiful flower bouquets will be provided by Flower Shop ST Flowers.
The event will be led by Katarina Prnjak, Miss Croatia 2011, and the mentors of the event include Lara Vukušić, Miss Tourism of Croatia 2016, and instructor Josipa Baliban from the Dance Center.

Runner-up: 700kn
Second Runner-up: 500kn
Miss Internet: Photo session with photographer Dušan Mitić
Miss Croatia will have 15 different prizes at the final selection, and the future Miss will be awarded with the Opel Astra autopilot AutoWill and will represent Croatia at Miss World 2017!
The event will take place on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Hotel Atrium and Admiral Platinum Casino in Split. Start time is 20:00.
The main sponsors of the event are Adriona Kozmetika and Admiral Platinum Casino which have announced a new direction for the program and a fun evening throughout the summer. It is interesting to note that for the first time, this event could not be supported by both the City of Split and Split-Dalmatia County because currently, there is no mayor for either.
Many former and current public figures in Split and guests from Zagreb are expected to attend the event this evening, and so can you. The main entrance for the event is through the Casino where there is a dressing room, after party, and the smoking area. All guests will receive 100 HRK credit for the Casino and a welcome drink upon arrival. Entrance is free for senior citizens.
