Have a coffee on the Riva (or even the West Coast Riva) and make the trek up Marjan hall for a drink and the best view of Split. Fast forward to Dubrovnik, the famous walled-city where the beauty will sweep you off of your feet. First things first, walk the walls. But only walk the walls as early as you can in the morning, or as late as you can in the evening. Being stuck behind thousands of other slow-walkers is a nightmare you’d rather leave for your dreams. Next up, explore the Old Town, but stay away from tourist traps on Stradun. Don’t miss out on the Church of St. Blaise, the Franciscan Monastery or the Rector’s Palace, and set aside some time for the Museum of Modern Art and the War Photo Limited Museum.
