Could these be the 2018 World Cup kits of our Croatia national team? Footy Headlines believes so.
The Croatia national football team will play at the World Cup in Russia next summer in new jerseys, a common practice for national teams as they change their kits every two years before major competitions.
The first leaked photographs of Croatia’s new kits arrived two weeks ago on the portal todosobrecamisetas.com, while Footy Headlines, the more famous specialized portal for such “leaks”, released photographs of the new kits in better quality – causing quite a buzz across both Croatian and international media sites.

The buzz, we might add, could be even bigger with the newly leaked Croatia away kits Footy Headlines released early this morning on November 29, 2017. The new away kits show not only larger checkers but a color that is added for the first time ever – dark navy.
While this was first noticed two weeks ago when Croatia’s home kit was released, the new blue and dark navy away shirt will adorn shorts of the dark navy color and the socks, according to Footy Headlines, will be red.
Darker jerseys have been a new trend in the world of football lately, so it comes as no surprise that sports giant Nike has chosen to follow the trend as well. National teams including Germany, Spain, Belgium, Mexico and the USA are just some of the teams who boast away jerseys in darker colors, and the clubs, among others, include PSG, Manchester United, Real, Borussia, and West Ham, reports Gol.hr on November 29, 2017.
Croatian clubs Hajduk and Dinamo have also joined the world trend this season with their third kits.
The Croatian national team will officially present their home and away kits in March 2018 and the new kits should premiere at the friendly matches before the World Cup.
