The 2018 Winter Olympics begin this Friday in PyeongChang.
The first Croatian athletes who will perform at the 23rd Winter Olympics will be alpine skiers Natko Zrnčić Dim and Filip Zubčić, who will start their downhill on Sunday, February 11th, followed by Croatian skiers Edi Dadić and Krešimir Crnkovic, reports Gol.hr on February 7, 2018.
After carrying the Croatian flag on Friday at the opening ceremony, Natko Zrnčić Dim may, depending on the starting numbers, be the first Croatian Olympian to performance in Pyeongchang. It will be, after the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, the fourth Olympic Games to feature Zrnčić Dim, who has the best results of all other Croatian Olympians in South Korea.
