Hailed by The New York Times as ‘a true virtuoso’, violinist Stefan Milenkovich performed in some of the world’s most celebrated venues such as Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, London’s Cadogan Hall, Tokyo’s Suntory Hall, and Venice’s La Fenice Theatre. He performed with world’s leading orchestras including Berlin, NDR Hannover, Indianapolis, and Utah Symphony Orchestras, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, and Helsinki Philharmonic, under the batton of such conductors as Sir Neville Marriner and Lorin Maazel. Milenkovich performed for President Ronald Reagan, Mikhail Gorbachev, and Pope John Paul II. At age 16, he gave his 1000th concert. He had won the Young Concert Artists International Competition, and was a prizewinner in 10 major international violin competitions. Milenkovich has participated igala concerts for UNESCO with Placido Domingo, Lorin Maazel, and Sir Yehudi Menuhin, and had taught in collaboration with Itzhak Perlman at the Julliard School. He plays the 1783 Giovanni Battista Guadagnini violin.
