February 20, 2019 – The recognizable badge of Hajduk Split has caught the eye of one of music’s greatest frontmen.
Oasis fans beyond the bounds of “Wonderwall” are probably familiar with Pretty Green, the clothing label of the band’s iconic frontman Liam Gallagher.
Founded in 2009, Pretty Green is a brand that “unites people through a love of music and fashion” and is named after a song by popular English punk band The Jam.
“Since the birth of rock ‘n’ roll in the late 1950s, British street culture has been influencing fashion and music worldwide. Pretty Green has an authenticity borne of a deep understanding of that culture and the things that make it relevant today,” reads the About Pretty Green section on their website.
Offering “simple, classic clothing with a modern twist”, Pretty Green’s selection ranges from parkas to Harrington jackets, polos, desert boots, and bucket hats.
The clothing brand’s latest arrivals, however, might look pretty familiar to fans of football club Hajduk Split. Namely, Pretty Green has added two t-shirts to their newest collection which seem to feature a similar badge to that of the famous Split club.
The only difference is that instead of reading “Hajduk Split”, Pretty Green’s print reads “Pretty Green, Rolling With It” circling the recognizable red and white checks.

Fashion and music blog Pretty Green Paisley Submarine even noticed the Hajduk reference and published the new Pretty Green clothing items to their Facebook page.
Apart from the t-shirts, Pretty Green also released a waxed cotton jacket featuring the same badge, which goes for a hefty 1,650 kuna.
Oasis may have a song called “Live Forever”, but Hajduk really does live forever (you might know it better as “Hajduk živi vječno”). If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then this is a genuine compliment from Liam Gallagher to Hajduk Split. But we’ll let the club decide.
