In memory of the significant military liberation and police action of the Croatian Army in the summer of ’95, the 5th horse caravan will be held on Saturday, June 8.

The caravan, where more than 50 participants from all over Croatia have been announced, moves from the Sinj hippodrome across the Sinj field to the Cetina river, then to Vojskova in the Hrvatačko polje and across the bridge to Panj, Bitelić, Vučipolje, Zasiok and finally to the BZ Patriot in Dabar. The whole route goes through important historic sites where nature has richly spread its beauty.

The caravan is designed so that the horses are connected through each settlement along the entire route. This will symbolically represent the communion of the Operation Summer ’95 action and the Croatian war veterans throughout the Homeland War. Representatives of numerous associations, equestrian clubs, and OPGs will participate in this caravan. The caravan will be led by flag bearers that will, along with the state, carry the banners of the Guardian Brigades of the Croatian Army, and the flags of several associations derived from the Homeland War.

The organizer of the 5th Horse Caravan, the Association of Juvenile Volunteers of the Homeland War of Split-Dalmatia County and co-organizer, Horse Club Sv. Mihovil-Trilj, are extremely pleased with the number of participants and the number of registered caravans.
