The 6th bicycle tour ‘To the Cetina Source’ was organized successfully by Bicycle Club ‘Vlaji-Sinj’ and supported by the Sinj Tourist Board on June 10, 2018.
Approximately 250 cyclists participated in this year’s bicycle tour to the source of the Cetina!
With the start and finish in front of the Hotel Alkar in Sinj, all participants successfully completed the default route, though it was incredibly demanding and some 84 kilometers to the source of Cetina and back. Moreover, cycling was difficult due to high air temperatures, but such weather conditions had little effect on riding through and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Dinara, Cetina River, and Peručko Lake.
The cyclists were happy to have arrived at the source of the Cetina where they continued to socialize with lunch in the beautiful natural environment.
After the lunch break and photos at the source, the cyclists took the same route to return to Sinj. A reception was organized in the summer hall of the Alkar Hotel, where the participants continued to socialize with homemade donuts, fruits, and refreshing drinks.
Guests from Zagreb, Split, Solin, Kaštela, Trogir, Srinjine, Podstrana, Makarska, Metković, as well as dear friends from Livno, Ljubuški, Gruda, Čitluk, and Mostar all enjoyed the bike tour.
Throughout the entirety of the route, cyclists were followed by members of the HGSS.
