The game will take place this Sunday, June 30, 2017, at Trg. Dr Franje Tudmana
The revival match between Delmatae and the Romans was inspired by the historical facts associated with the tombstone of Gaj Laberije.
The solo artist Dean Poljak, in order to promote the theory of football formation in this area, made a replica of the tombstone and designed this customized game.
The match is actually a theatrical performance of a comic character, with the rules of the game invented in the spirit of the ancient times. The main actors are Emperor Diocletian and Princess Priska with their advisers, surrounded by guards and soldiers in the lodge. In the field, there are musicians, judges, ten Delmatae players and ten Roman players, who are all dressed in original costumes.
The event will take place in Sinj this Sunday, July 30th. Here’s a rundown of the event.

Solemn speech at Gaj Laberija at 20:30
Departure from Vrlička Street at 20:45 to Trg Kralja Tomislava (pijaca), ulica Glavička and Trg dr. Franje Tuđmana.
Start of the program at Trg dr. Franje Tuđmana at 21:00.
Completion of the program at 23:00.
