Over the weekend, about 50 participants joined the 9th international oldtimer automobile meeting “Salona 2016”. Participants first gathered in Solin, then moved along to showcase their automobiles at the Sinj airport.

Participants of the “Salona 2016” oldtimer meeting included fans of old automobiles and motorcycles from Croatia, Slovenia and Germany.

Toni Jagnjić kicked off the event in Sinj in front of the Aero Club, introducing participants to the various activities at the airport. Participants also visited the Museum Alka of Sinj, and after their gathering at the airport with their precious automobiles, they visited the whole of Cetina, and continued to ride onto a ranch in Glavice.

According to the chairman of the oldtimer club ‘Zvonimir’ from Solin, Boris Lozić, this is not the first time that participants have joined the Solin international oldtimer automobile meeting visit to Sinj. In the last five years, they have visited Sinj 3 times, and consider the city of Sinj a place where they feel most comfortable.

The intention of the organizers and the framework of the international oldtimer automobile meeting is to incorporate as much of Sinj and the Cetina as they can, connecting Solin and this region in many ways.
