Adventurers will have the opportunity to explore the little-known but extraordinary beauty of Inland Dalmatia for the 7th international Centina Adventure Race! The race will take place on June 3, 2017.
The aim of the two-member team race is to overcome natural obstacles and challenges imposed by different disciplines in unpredictable weather and the natural conditions of Inland Dalmatia. Physical conditions, will-power, community spirit and the knowledge of many skills are some of the conditions for success, reports Dalmacija Danas on May 21, 2017.
The race passes through the Cetina River, Lake Peruća, the wild landscape of Kamešnica, mountain ranges Svilaja and Dinara, and the cities Vrlika, Sinj and Trilj. The length of the race is approximately 100 kilometers which must be completed in 11 hours – in this period of time, competitors will have the chance to test their endurance, willpower and show that winners are not just the ones that cross the finish line first.
Competitors will kayak, canyon, swim, mountain bike, climb, abseil, jump, and so much more to win the ultimate prize of 10,000 HRK.

The adventure sports club “Cetina Adventure”, apart from the adventure race, have additionally organized the ”City Challenge Cetina Adventure” competition on the same day. Perfect for the entire family, the challenge is designed for participants to find certain checkpoints in the town of Sinj with the help of maps and instructions.
The City challenge can take as little as 30 minutes or as long as 2 hours – a great way to explore and meet the town of Sinj with family and friends.
Contestants will compete in three categories: children from ages 1 to 12 with a parent, children older than 12 years participating alone or with the written consent of a parent signed on the day of the race, and women and men.
While the applications for the Cetina Adventure Race are currently closed, applications for the City Challenge are open until May 30, 2017 and include a competition shirt, refreshments at checkpoints, beverages, and a meal after the race. You can register on the day of the race until 16:00 without a competitive shirt.
