In the afternoon of Monday, November 20, 2017, the Tourist Board of Vrlika organized an educational workshop under the theme: “How to be a successful renter through better photos of the facilities offered”.
The workshop began with a discussion on the basic rules of how one should arrange their home or apartment in the photos to ensure their accommodation facility has a better chance of being rented.
During these workshops, there were segments held on how renters should cater to their guests, how they should answer guest questions, how they should welcome tourists at the highest level of quality, and how to appropriately manage guest reviews – for example, the proper way to manage both the good or bad Trip Advisor reviews tourists might write when leaving the accommodation.
The workshop was led by Mrs. Meri Čizmić and Mrs. Anamarija Cicarelli from Interligos – Private Landlords’ Consultant and Mr. Vedran Pražen from Smartingo who deals with internet marketing. Pražen introduced participants to the book Kako mrežom uhvatiti goste which deals directly with networking with your guests, and will create a free analysis of the private accommodation of renters who took part in the workshops to evaluate what needs to be repaired for even more successful operations.
The Tourist Board of Vrlika is, of course, at the disposal to all citizens looking for rental information.
If you recall, back In 2014, there was not a single overnight in Vrlika. In 2015, there were 232 nights, in 2016 there were 846 nights, and for the best year yet, Vrlika is currently at 1,595 overnights in 2017, which is an increase of 53% compared to the previous year. Bravo to this Inland Dalmatian town!
Such a result is thanks to the continuous educational workshops held by the Tourist Board since 2014, and, as expected, they will of course continue.
