Orlando Furioso is a new event in the city which will be held from June 6 to 16, 2017, at two locations – the Rector’s Palace and at the Museum of Modern Art Dubrovnik.
Organized by the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, this new concert series will take viewers on a baroque music adventure, instantly enriching Dubrovnik’s cultural offer, announced the Dubrovnik Tourist Board.

On June 10th, the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra String Quartet and the Antiphonus vocal ensemble, under the supervision of maestro Tomislav Fačini, will see the masterpiece of H. Purcella, opera Dido and Aeneas, one of the saddest antique stories about the love of the unfortunate Queen of Cards and the Trojan Horse.
On Tuesday, June 13th at the TRIO SONATAS concert, the works of D. Castella, J.M. Leclair, A.Vivaldi and G.F. Händel will be performed, while Dmitry Sinkovsky will lead the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra on Friday, June 16th with the talented young pianist Marin Limić.
