Marco Polo Tower

The Marko Polo Tower is known as the house of the famous explorer. It is believed that Marko Polo was actually born in this house on the island of Korčula in 1254. Part of the house is open for visitors where they can climb the narrow staircase to see some of the most stunning views of Korčula’s old town. Korčula’s Town Authority recently bought the house and is currently planning to reconstruct it to the Museum of Marco Polo.
