Having opened earlier this summer in the heart of Split, Misto Street Food Factory is everyone’s new favorite gastronomic paradise, crafting Dalmatian specialties in a street food style.

The idea came about for Misto under the concept of traditional Dalmatian food, everyone’s favorite comfort and memory, but with a twist to craft these classics into a new light.

The original concept of street food was created in order to prepare and eat quality foods and meals through an “on the go” hectic lifestyle. The team from Misto has kept that concept in mind as well while creating dishes on their menu, and perhaps the perfect example of “Dalmatian street food” is their popular stuffed pepper sandwich.

So far as the rest of their menu goes, Misto isn’t playing around. They offer up oxtail and beef tongue, chicken liver, and pork cheek sandwiches to name a few. If you feel like lightening it up you can opt for salads topped with their meat offers, cold creamy carrot soup, or their pastas which are offered “wet” with salsa or ” dry “with a beef sauce.

Misto Street Food Factory is all about fresh food prepared daily that is easily accessible, easy to transport, and full of Mama’s Dalmatian comfort. Feel free to enjoy your meal in the small comfort of their indoors, at the tables on the patio or on the stairs in front of the shop. The most important thing is that you’re there.
