Day of the Day is back at Marjan this weekend!
Everyone is invited to enjoy the presentation of the project Toward Europe – Day of the Doney (Dan Tovara), to be held on Sunday, May 28, 2017, from 10:30 to 19:00 on Marjan.
Within this ecological and artistic agitprop action, Day of the Donkey will be held to pay tribute to Dalmatia’s ultimate weapon of salvation – the Primorje-Dinaric donkey. The full day will be accompanied by a music performance from the collective “Siva”, a DJ program, and public poetry and drama for the youngest visitors. Children and adults will also enjoy Marjan with many other active and social games, and there will be refreshments, too!
Additionally, it can be happily be announced that the herd of donkeys on Marjan, who live in the area of the former Zoo Garden, are now a new member richer! Participants will be able to meet the newest addition and even get the opportunity to name them.
All citizens are invited to participate in the event and are encouraged to bring their creative ideas – a packed program awaits!
The Toward Europe organization also invites new councilors of the City Council to join the program to get acquainted with the project and possibly present their vision of revitalizing the space of the Marjan Zoo Garden.
The project Toward Europe is implemented by the Uzon Association, in cooperation with the Natural History Museum of Split, the Forest Park Marjan, and numerous local associations.
