Chops Grill is the premier steak and seafood house in the center of Split, located conveniently off of Marmontova. When thinking of steakhouses, we usually assume they’re best fit for dinner, but have you seen the Chops lunch menu yet?
Although similar to their dinner menu, Chops Grill does offer up some lunch specials that you surely shouldn’t miss.
Their menu begins with appetizers, offering up everything from scampi pate to Chops bruschetta, a beef carpaccio to smoked duck breasts, and their new tuna tartar to your traditional Dalmatian plate of prosciutto and cheeses. One thing not to miss is the sea rhapsody appetizer: marinated anchovies, smoked tuna prosciutto, and marinated shrimp tails served on a fresh salad with fruit and sun dried tomatoes. The best part? If you can’t decide on just one appetizer, get the Chops combo for two!

When it comes to pastas and risottos, this steakhouse is a force to be reckoned with. Chops serves a plethora of pastas from spaghetti a la caprese to their newest addition, cacio & pepe (the Roman speciality). They even make one of the best homemade pastas from Korčula (and get it served with prosciutto and truffles, you won’t be sorry).
After all of this we know you’re really hungry, but the lunch specials are where the fun ensues. Because the quest for a proper hamburger is always ongoing, Chops has not one, but two to choose from with their lunch specials. Their new chicken burger comes with sliced grilled chicken, crispy onions, and crispy mozzarella cheese. Their black angus burger is a take on an American classic, served with crispy onions, cheddar cheese, and bacon! Both specials are served with fries and served until 18h.
Chops offers their standard menu for meat entrees, specialty meats, and seafood during lunch, so if you’re feeling like you want to go that extra mile you know just where to go.
For other light fare, Chops offers a range of soups from fish to gazpacho and salads from Greek to a classic caesar.
