Daniela Rogulj

The first ever ‘Wines of Dalmatia’ festival will take place next weekend, with educational workshops free to visitors!

In line with the growing trend of Croatian gastronomy and wine production, Dalmatia receives yet another manifestation – and one that is essential for the future of Dalmatian wine and hospitality. The first ever ‘Wines of Dalmatia’ festival, organized by the winemakers themselves, will be held on Friday, April 13th and Saturday, April 14th at the Campus Restaurant within the University Campus in Split, reports Dalmatinski Portal on April 4, 2018.

Organized by the Association of Dalmatian Wines, which operates with the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and the University of Split, the ‘Wines of Dalmatia’ festival brings together the leading winemakers of the region, offering visitors the most comprehensive overview of the Dalmatian wine scene. The organizers have provided free entry to all visitors, caterers and hoteliers via registration on the official festival website.

A vibrant program with quality educational content guarantees intensive and proactive collaboration between the winemakers, caterers, journalists and the academic community.

The backbone of the festival consists of educational workshops that are free for visitors who have reserved a space on the website
