The 4th festival of music videos will be held in Split this May.
Split Spot Festival is known as the only festival of its kind in the region. Designed for directors, cinematographers, editors, animators, and artists, the two-day festival takes place at Kinoteka Golden Gate (Zlatna Vrata) and Fortress Gripe over two days in Split.
How does the festival work?
Aspiring music video directors have the chance to see their work on the big screen thanks to the Split Spot Festival. All videos that have been submitted for the festival will be entered into a competition to find the best, and the two-day program will be further enriched with workshops and roundtable discussions.
The ultimate goal of the festival is to build a network of colleagues and friends while highlighting the importance of producing quality videos.

The submitted videos will be entered into a competition where they will be voted upon by a three-member jury in the following categories:
BEST DIRECTOR
BEST PHOTOGRAPHY
BEST EDITING
BEST VISUAL EFFECTS
BEST NEWCOMER
AUDIENCE AWARD
Jury 2014: Toni Volarić, Veljko Popović, Mirko Pivčević
Jury 2015: Bernardin Modrić, Thomas Krstulović, and Nikolina Mazalin
Jury 2016: Tomislav Šango, Vjeran Hrpa, Davor Drezga
Each day of the festival will end with a concert.
