The Famous Derby of Hajduk v Dinamo: Rules and Regulations Ahead of the Match Tonight

Today, August 10, beginning at 19h, HNK Hajduk Split will face GNK Dinamo Zagreb at Poljud stadium in Split. With this match comes many traffic regulations and important information.

Having started already at 10h this morning, there are traffic blockade on the promenade around the stadium (only open for police vehicles).

 

Beginning at 14h, there will be traffic blockades on the street VIII. Mediteranskih igara, and at the intersection of the street Sedam Kaštela (only open for police vehicles), the pool and at “Hemingway” (except for vehicles with a boarding pass).

 

From 16h there will be a traffic blockade established at the street Zrinsko-frankopanske, from the intersection at street Hrvatske Mornarice to the entrance of Lora, as well as at street Put Supavla, from the intersection with Put Brodarice (except for HV vehicles, residents and public transport).

 

Through the street VIII. Mediteranskih igara there will be a smooth circulation of buses.

 

On match day the police will, in accordance with Article 79 of the Law on police duties and powers, before, during and after the end of the game be filmed in the stadium and at its access routes.

 

Notifications and warning to patrons:

– It is prohibited to bring and to use pyrotechnic articles in and at the stadium

– At the stadium it is forbidden to carry weapons or objects of injury, alcoholic drinks and other beverages that are contained in glass and plastic bottles or carton packaging

– No umbrellas, lighters, plastic bottles and other hard objects, bags and backpacks are allowed into the stadium

– Flags cannot have wooden or metal poles – entry of such rods will not be allowed (plastic hollow sticks are allowed with lengths up to 1m)

 

Notice for visiting supporters: Police officers from the Police Administration of Split-Dalmatia will perform a check of organized and unorganized groups of fans at the exit of the A1 highway toll station Dugopolje. For this purpose, the toll station at Dugopolje will have special traffic regulations.

 

All organized groups of fans that are coming in under police escort will be addressed directly to the stadium “Poljud”. For all other visiting supporters who are traveling disorganized with personal or combi-vehicles, there will be parking provided near the toll station at Dugopolje, and police escorts will transport you by an organized bus service to the stadium “Poljud” and back. The away fans should note that the toll station at Dugopolje A1 is 15km from the stadium, and it is recommended to arrive there no later than 17h to ensure arrival at the stadium on time.

 

Citizens and visitors are expected to respect the guidelines, warnings and orders of police officers in traffic and allow the football game to pass without incident.
