With the ever growing tourist population and the always packed Split riva, we grow more and more thankful each day for our trusty riva extension: the Western riva.
We’d have to believe that without the Western riva and with the absolute increase of bodies coming to Split each year, we would be packed like a can of sardines on our palm tree lined promenade.
Our Western riva has really opened a new world for tourists and locals alike, and here are some ways we can make use of it.
For coffee, drinks and food: Escape the crowds and dive straight into ultimate bliss with the dining options on the Western riva. For coffee, drinks and, food, the F Group has you covered. F-Marine is an uber hip Mediterranean seafood sanctuary, and F De Mar a classic steak and seafood lounge. Perfect for coffee during the day and cocktails at night, you’ll always find these two establishments full of life.
For lounging: Make use of the built in loungers and chairs on the Western riva. Situated in the midst of perfectly landscaped plants and trees, this bit is made for hanging out and relaxation. Watch the ever so luxurious yachts roll into the harbor, or simply people watch as you would on the main riva. Either way, you’ll find comfort and care in this marina of leisure.
For fitness: You’ll oftentimes see bicyclists, roller bladers, and skateboarders using the Western riva as their activity filled haven. A great place for runners as well, we’re pretty sure the scenery can’t be beat looking out onto the sea and the main riva in Split.
