From August 26-28, Croatian circus artist Vladimir Ježiće will host acrobatic workshops at Kam Hram in Split. The workshops will be taught through day-long programs where the techniques of air acrobatics will be displayed with trapeze, on silk, and will include movement and improvisation.
Vladimir Ježiće from Novi Vinodolski, was born in 1989 in Rijeka. Ježiće graduated as an art teacher and painter from the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka in 2012. Besides performing arts; Ježiće also does contemporary dance and circus arts. He is well versed in acrobatics on silk and trapeze, as well as juggling since 2009. Ježiće completed the vocational school for contemporary circus “Cirko Vertigo” in 2015 in Turin, where he specialized in static trapeze. He currently lives in Turin where he works as a performer and a teacher at the school Cirko Vertigo.

26.08. I 27. 08. Workshop silk and trapeze
This workshop program is divided into three main parts; heating and general physical preparation, physical preparation specific to air fabric and work on the techniques that involve static and dynamic elements.
Trapeze – basic / intermediate
This workshop is for those who want to complement and improve existing knowledge and skills on trapeze and those dealing with other air disciplines (aerial hoops, fabric, rope, etc.) and want to try a new discipline. The level of this workshop is basic / intermediate, which means that students have previously mastered at least the basics of one or more air disciplines.
*It is desirable that those attending the workshop bring a pair of sports socks
Silk – basic / intermediate
This workshop is for those who are just starting and for those who already know the basic techniques on fabric and air, wanting to bring your skill to a higher level to complement and improve existing knowledge and skills.
28.08. Creative / Research Workshop for air artists
This workshop is for those who govern air disciplines and their skill and want to add a quality performance, as well as those who own artistic expression and want to complete, upgrade or explore and experiement in search of new forms and possibilities of artistic expression. This workshop will show various improvisational techniques including work on the expressiveness of the body, the quality of movement, body props, space, music, audience and other elements that can affect the performance.

The workshops are intended for 12 students, with the applications closing after 12 is reached.
