On Friday afternoon there was an incident in ZET bus on line 116 Podsused – Remiza. The bus driver didn’t want to leave the station and yelled at the lady who had entered the bus with her dog, reports Zagreb.info on September 24, 2017.
The bus driver refused to drive until the lady and her dog leave the bus. Although the lady claimed that the dog had a muzzle on and showed the driver the necessary papers, the driver protested that what the dog was wearing wasn’t a muzzle. He also said to the lady that she must buy a ticket for her dog and added that she had put something else on the dog instead of a proper muzzle.
The bus driver rudely told the lady to leave the bus and take the taxi. The lady tried to explain to the driver that the dog had a muzzle on but without success. The passengers began to react because they were late to work and told him to drive, seeing that the dog had all the papers. Some even threatened to sue him. A heated discussion ensued, which one of the passengers filmed on his phone.

No additional ticket is charged for them. It is also permissible to transport dogs taller than 30 cm, provided that the dog has a muzzle and short leash, along with the prescribed documentation, that is, the common veterinary entry document and a document confirming the vaccination against rabies.”
