After so many reasons to visit Jelsa this summer, here are 10 more. The Gdinj Bays, as they are called. Smrska, Kožija, Veprinova, Rapak, Tvrdni dolac, Torac, Lučica, Skozanje, Jedra, Srhov dolac – 10 small bays located on the southern side of the island, below the Gdinj village.

Located some 30 km from Jelsa to the east side, after reaching Gdinj, turn right at the church, drive down to the bays and pick your favourite one (this will not be easy though..).

There are several great lodging options in the bays. Some of them offering the luxury of staying directly on the beach. Imagine that. Having the sea in front of your house (ok, holiday home, but still), jumping in whenever you feel like it, wearing your swimsuit the whole day and letting go of stress, relaxing, sleeping and sunbathing..

As I said, choosing (only) one of the bays will not be easy, as they are all beautiful, but maybe Visit-Hvar can help with their amazing photos and a range of accommodation options in the bays.

Be sure to visit them this summer, they are worth the trip!!
