An invitation from the Red Cross Hvar to join the Registry of the Hematopoietic Stem Cells Donors in Hvar:
On the occasion of the Day of Hvar town (October 3, 2015) for the first time on the island, the Hvar Town Society of the Red Cross and the Ana Rukavina Foundation organize the action: “Join the Registry of Voluntary Hematopoietic Stem Cells Donors”
All healthy citizens between 18 and 40 years of age may join the register and contribute to saving lives of patients with acute and chronic forms of leukaemia and sever bone marrow failure.
The process of registration involves filling out the application form and health questionnaire and giving a blood sample for HLA tissue typing, which determines the tissue antigens impact factor.
