The Tourist Board of Sinj has prepared a brochure for the museums and the galleries on offer in Sinj. The brochure is called Three Museums, Galleries, one city of Sinj (Tri muzeja, galerija i jedan grad Sinj).
This is the first tourist brochure with the entire museum and gallery offer within the city of Sinj, printed in both Croatian and English languages. The booklet is compiled of: the Archaeological collection of the Franciscan monastery which has operated since 1860 and is one of five collections of the Franciscan Monastery, the Museum of Cetina region which this year celebrates its 60th anniversary, the newest having opened last year is a modern multimedia museum of Sinj Alka which records excellent attendance, and lastly the Sikirica Gallery with works by the sculptor Stipe Sikirica, the complete opus to the town of Sinj.
In addition to important information on museums, galleries, and their locations, this booklet also includes information about their working hours, professional leadership and contacts.
The significance of this brochure shows the valuable cultural and historical heritage of the town of Sinj, and encourages and develops the interest of visitors. This brochure will also raise public awareness of the cultural heritage and its importance as a whole.
The brochure will be promoted and distributed through fairs.
