The twelfth DM Millennium Jump saw Zadar’s beautiful waterfront packed!

As Morski writes on the 4th of August, 2018, on Saturday, August the 4th, a massive 3,000 participants gathered at the Zadar riva (waterfront), marking the beginning of the ever popular twelfth DM Millennium Jump.

In addition to the three main ones, this year there is a ”Vatreni jump” with participants wearing Croatian football jerseys, the idea behind which is to gather humanitarians who want to continue to mark the dazzling success of the Croatian national team at the World Cup recently held in Russia.

Before the first jump, attendees of the swimming school for children with developmental disabilities showed off their skills and what they have learned over the past year through the direct help of the DM Millennium Jump. The invaluable school teaches and encourages the development of independence, the strengthening of confidence, and instills a feeling of belonging into its students, all of whom are between the ages of four and seven.

The DM Millennium jump helps the school, which was established back in 2007 and has been attended by more than 230 children with various developmental difficulties in the last twelve years, enormously.

Along with the donations to the aforementioned school, this year, the DM Millennium Jump will also help Antonija Iglić from Bibinje who is currently suffering from a severe bone disease, with the help of the sale of healthy DMBio lunches which are prepared for participants and are being sold at a symbolic price of 5 kuna.
