In its 4th edition this year, Moondance festival will take place over 3 nights in the middle age Venetian fortress Karmelengo, situated in central Trogir.
The leading homemade Croatian techno festival Moondance expands this year to three nights of pumping techno music, boat parties, and legendary after parties. Established in 2013 by Croatian DJ and promoter Pero Fullhouse, this year’s event is bringing in phenomenal DJ acts from across the globe, with the likes of Jeff Mills, Josh Winks, and The Storytellers to name a few.
The idea came about while Pero Fullhouse and other local Trogir DJ’s were attending the various events held in Karmelengo Fortress as part of the Trogir Summer of Culture. The location proved to be excellent, from the ambience, pristine acoustics, and most unique infrastructure. Convinced that this was one of the best locations for music on the Adriatic, the idea of Moondance came to fruition.
Trogir has been voted by National Geographic as one of the world’s most beautiful island cities, and we are sure the contrast of new age techno and the centuries old architecture will make this event truly special.
The 4th edition of Moondance festival will be held from August 11-13. Tickets and more info available here.
