A deserted park in the city center of Zagreb is becoming an art oasis this summer!
The organization “Pimp My Pump” and street art studio “Lapo Lapo” invite you to “Art Park”, a new open-air museum complete with various artistic programs from June to September this summer. The location of “Art Park” will be between Tomićeve and Strossmayer streets.
After years of neglect, this park, formerly known as disorderly and fit for junkies, will undergo a complete revitalization. The first part of planning was done last weekend when well known regional names from the world of street art came together to paint the walls of the park, clean it up, and bring it to be a unique park in the city. The second part of the planning project is to introduce “Art Park”, beginning this Saturday, June 11.
The “Art Park” events will be enjoyed through pleasant afternoons, socializing from 15h up to 21h with music and thematic workshops, screenings, exhibitions and other events that will enrich the summer in Zagreb through the month of September. The other wonderful perk? The park will be open to the public at all times and panels will be set up for those who wish to paint!
