A welcome boost for events and their organisers across the country.
As Morski writes on the 7th of October, 2018, The Ministry of Regional Development and European Funds will co-finance the organisation of the cost of the events which involve and/or present products which have been given the “Croatian Island Product” (Hrvatski otočni proizvod) label within their program. The decision will have a positive influence over as many as nineteen events, in the total amount of 241,000.00 kuna.
The highest amount that one organiser for one event can be approved through this public scheme 20,000.00 kuna, and this privilege was awarded to the 20th anniversary event of olive and oil producers, under the title of “Noćnjak 2018”, held under the organisation of the Cooperative Alliance of Dalmatia.
Numerous other events and manifestations that will take place across the country have also been allocated funds from the same ministry, some of them include Christmas and pre-Easter fairs, which have been awarded up to 17,000.00 kuna in funds.
Other similar events have also had money from the competent ministry allocated to them, but in smaller amounts.
