They plan to evaluate the quality and specificity of prosciutto from individual producers on June 4, 2021.
Professional quality assessment of prosciutto, as before, will be performed based on the “Ordinance on the quality assessment of prosciutto.” The evaluation of the quality of prosciutto is public in the presence of members of the expert committee and the media. The products of the Fair’s participants will be evaluated.
As in previous years, in addition to the exhibition part of the fair, there are plans to organize professional-educational panels where producers and visitors could be informed about topics related to financing through tenders and programs of Rural Development, which finances investment in small and large farms, i.e., economic entities engaged in the production and processing of indigenous products, such as Dalmatian prosciutto.
