The famed New York Times shines the international spotlight on the Pearl of the Adriatic in it’s popular ”36 Hours In” theme!
The New York Times is one of the most widely read and respected publications in the world, its popular ”36 Hours In” series has offered its vast readership in depth insights into what exactly you ”must do” if you’re in a destination for just a short amount of time. Split, the Dalmatian capital, has already been covered, and now it’s time to head south and see what the New York Times had to say about Croatia’s southernmost, and unarguably most beautiful city – Dubrovnik.
”This gorgeous, historic city on the Dalmatian Coast has recently become a feast for more than just the eyes” writes David Farley for NYT on June the 22nd, 2017.
The article offers readers an interactive map of the locations of what the publication deems to be the most worthwhile spots to visit, including some obvious things like the famous cable car to the top of Mt Srdj and historical gems like Lovrijenac fortress, to lesser known places like Konoba Dubrava and Abakus Piano Bar.
In a step by step (and time by time) guide, the NYT lists a carefully planned schedule of ”must do’s and must go’s” with in depth and refreshingly accurate detail that one comes to expect from such a publication, as well as a comprehensive list of accommodation options and their respective prices.
I am proud to say that the original and truly spectacular business of my good friend, Piknik Dubrovnik (find out more here) is also listed!
