A little festive beer in Croatia to help with the Christmas celebrations.
Advent at Zrinjevac in Zagreb is simply unimaginable without the Christmas Beer, which has created the special festive atmosphere for the last 26 years and represents a great holiday gift to all true beer fans. It is a unique beer on Croatian market, not just due to its taste, but also due to its exceptional design. This year, for its 26th annual edition, the label for the Christmas Beer has been designed by young artist Ivona Jurić, reports Poslovni.hr on December 13, 2015.
Darko Ivančević, marketing director of Zagrebačka Pivovara, spoke about the festive beer story which has been bringing together all fans of beer for the last 26 years. “We are pleased that each year we provide our customers with the festive atmosphere through the unique recipe and design of the Christmas Beer. I am particularly pleased that we have maintained the tradition that each year Christmas Beer labels bring fresh interpretation of the Christmas spirit and the holiday season, which has enabled us to present the works of some of the leading names of Croatian art and to provide opportunities for young artists to show their creative solutions to a wider audience. I am confident that this year’s edition, in both its appearance and taste, will give everyone another reason for joy during this holiday season”, Ivančević said.
At the presentation ceremony held at Zrinjevac, the holiday spirit to celebrate the 26th edition of the Christmas Beer was complemented with the performance of Christmas carols by Vanna, Ivana Rushaidat, Ante Gelo and the band.
In addition to impressive taste and design of the Christmas Beer, Zagrebačka Pivovara has this year decided to renew the tradition of sending holiday greeting cards. In order to let everyone return to that almost forgotten ritual, a special mailbox has been set up, where all visitors can fill in a special holiday greeting card and put it in the mailbox. The Christmas Beer will make sure that each postcard is delivered to the right address.
