So what if summer is over? TCN’s Dave Gasson gives us a glimpse at what we can still expect on the music scene, both this year and next!

With the summer festivals over, it’s time to look forward and highlight some of the concerts that are taking place in the next few weeks and to mark your calendars for some early announcements of festivals and concerts for 2018.

Stefan Milenković – The world renowned violinist will be performing three benefit shows with the Zagreb Soloists.

Since being taught the violin by his parents from the tender age of three, the multi award winning Stefan Milenković has gone on to become one the world’s most established and sought-after violinists of his generation.

Serbia’s Artist of the Century continues to appear at some of the most prestigious venues around the world as a soloist and regularly accompanies some of the world’s greatest orchestras. With his 1783 Giovanni Battista Guadagnini violin, he has collaborated with the rock band Gorillaz as well as Edin Karamazov and the Vlatko Stefanovski trio. Stefan has also played for numerous dignitaries including President Ronald Reagan, Mikhail Gorbachev and Pope John Paul II.

All the charity events are in aid of young people without parental care and will provide the implementation of Outward Bound programs.

Bryan Adams ~ 09.11.17 ~ Zagreb arena

The legendary Canadian rocker, songwriter, producer, photographer, philanthropist, activist, and humanitarian makes a welcome return to Croatia after over 10 years as part of the ”Get Up” tour.

He will be performing many of his hits including ”(Everything I Do) I Do It For You”, ”Summer of 69”, and ”Run To You”, as well as tracks from his latest album ”Get UP”.

Beth Hart ~ 10.11.17 at the Boogaloo club. Having only visited Croatia once before on holiday with her husband, the incredible and charismatic Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Beth Hart will finally be performing at the Boogaloo club in the Croatian capital of Zagreb.

Blues Magazine once dubbed Beth Hart ”the ultimate female rock star” and the hugely talented blues/jazz and good old fashioned rock and roll singer will be singing many of her classics as well as tracks from ”Fire on the floor” – her eighth solo album.

Rod Stewart ~ 02.02.18 ~ Zagreb Arena

Twice included in the Rock Hall of Fame, one of the world’s greatest names in music, Sir Rod Stewart, will be performing for the first time at Zagreb Arena. With over 200 million albums sold and a career spanning five decades with countless hits such as ”Sailings”, ”The First Cut Is The Deepest”, ”Rhythm Of My Heart” and ”Maggie May”, it promises to be a great show and this surely marks the start of another great year to come in Croatia for concerts and festivals.

Roger Waters ~ 06.05.18 ~ Zagreb Arena

The co-founder of the legendary Pink Floyd and creative genius Roger Waters returns to Zagreb Arena for a true classic rock and visual spectacular as part of the ”Us + Them” tour which has seen him perform to sell out crowds in America. As well as new music from his latest album ”Is This The Life We Really Want?” the three hour show includes tracks from ”The Wall”, ”Animals”, ”Wish You Were Here” and ”Dark Side of the Moon”.

The show is accompanied by lasers, graphics, and video projections which are more advanced than at his previous concerts and the music represents the very best of Roger Water’s career.

One of the longest running festivals in Croatia brings together reggae/dub/punk/ska/dancehall/dubstep/drum’n’bass/hiphop/breakbeat/jungle and delves deep into the bass culture.

Soulful electronic music spanning across House, Techno, Disco, Jazz, Funk, Soul, Drum & Bass and much more as well as an amazing opening night concert held at Pula Arena.

The 11th Outlook Festival ~ 05.09.18 ~ 09.09.18
The largest Soundsystem Culture festival in Europe, Outlook brings together the biggest names from the most vibrant and cutting edge dance scenes around. This festival is preceded by an exceptional opening night concert held at Pula Arena.
