Sandro Puncet is a storm chaser. Not the kind we know from B-rated movies from the 90s, as he doesnt track extreme weather conditions to collect data, but instead hunts storms with his camera to get some stunning shots.
He publishes the awe-inspiring images on his Facebook page, where he posted an incredible shot of a Cumulonimbus passing over Lošinj yesterday, July 24. “A powerful Shelf cloud over Lošinj”, says the straightforward caption – the eerie celestial phenomenon evoking an image of a tsunami is hard to put into words.
Puncet also created a timelapse of the storm closing in on Lošinj. Take a look at the video below, along with a few other examples of his fantastic work.
