Following the completion of the Euro 2016 and Copa America tournaments, the new FIFA rankings were announced this morning.
The leader of the pack remains Argentina, with their Copa America final loss to Chile not impacting any change. In second is Belgium, third Colombia, fourth Germany and fifth Chile.
Portugal has moved up 2 spots to sixth place, with their recent Euro championship helping them along. France is in seventh, having moved up 10 places, and Spain, the team Croatia victoriously beat 2-1 has moved down two spots to eighth.
The most notable improvements on the table are the currently eleventh placed Wales, who moved up a whopping 15 places after their triumphant Euro success.
And Croatia, with a devastating defeat to Portugal and an otherwise stellar performance throughout the Euro tournament, has moved up a massive 12 places, ranking them currently number 15 on the FIFA scale.
