VIDEO: African Orphanage Sings Dino Dvornik

Daniela Rogulj

Children from an orphanage in Africa learn the songs of Dino Dvornik.

The songs of the “Croatian king of funk” have made their way to the children at an orphanage in Africa, reports Slobodna Dalmacija on April 14, 2017.

Filip, a newly graduated civil engineer who arrived in Africa in March, is currently based on the borders of Uganda, Rwanda, and Congo. Volunteering at an orphanage that houses around 50 children, Filip has also been a wonderful source of entertainment for the children.

While he’s been in Africa, Filip has not only taught the children to play basketball, but he’s also taught them the songs of one of Croatia’s most famous music stars, Dino Dvornik.

In the video below you can see the children singing “Ti si mi u mislima”, a very popular song in Croatia to this day.

The video was posted by Adela Pece and has been viewed over 100K times!

And here’s the original version for any of you who have forgotten…
