Whether you’re planning a visit to the region or feel like getting to know it better, it’s never been easier with the newly released Visit Zagorje mobile application.
You can now discover the fairytale region of Zagorje in the palm of your hand with the new ‘Visit Zagorje’ mobile application which promotes the extensive tourist offer of Zagorje, reports HRTurizam on October 19, 2018.
The application offers information on the castles and museums, hotels, spas, restaurants, visitor centers, landmarks, old crafts, churches, and shops, as well as special thematic routes, the tastes of Zagorje, and other tourist products and attractions you can find in the region.
The application allows users to view tourist objects by scanning QR codes on interactive tourist maps available at the Visitor Center in Zagorje at the Roses Design Outlet Center, Terme Tuhelj, Terme Jezerčica, Bluesun Hotel Kaj, Villa Magdalena, Hotel Matija Gubec, Hotel & Pansion Zagi, Toplice Hotel, and holiday apartments ‘Snow Queen’.
“Visit Zagorje is the official application of the Tourist Board of Krapina Zagorje County. The application provides comprehensive visitor information about the tourist sites, and seasonal offers in the region of Zagorje, Croatia. Its unique feature enables scanning of the printed tourist site markers on Zagorje interactive tourist maps and interactive brochures,” reads the app description on Google Play.
Whether you are planning a trip to Zagorje or want to experience the destination from the comfort of your home, the Visit Zagorje application is a true mobile guide, the Krapina-Zagorje Tourist Board points out.
The app is available for both iOS and Android devices.
We should also note that in February of this year, Zagorje also received its first tourist card thanks to the Krapina-Zagorje County Tourist Board.
The Zagorje Card serves to increase tourist spending and sell experiences and content throughout the county. The tourist card is free, is valid for five days, and offers a 10% discount on services in three categories: culture, gastronomy, and spa.
