Air Pannonia, an air transport operator based in Osijek in Slavonia, which is focused on providing air transportation services for businesspeople and medical transport services for patients, has signed an agreement about transporting patients for a prominent medical clinic in Serbia. The new contract has further strengthened the development of the Croatian health tourism in this segment, reports Poslovni.hr on August 30, 2016.
On behalf of the Air Pannonia company, the contract was signed by Zrinka Vlašić. “Our company fulfils all the legally required international standards for the transport of patients, approved by the European Aviation Safety Agency, which makes it unique and different from other similar air transport companies in this region. Patients will be transported in aircraft that are equipped with all the necessary medical equipment, and under the medical supervision headed by highly qualified experts, specially trained for this type of medical services”, said Vlašić.
Air Pannonia is a family company developed from a small airline which has a 23 year long tradition of providing air transportation services. Air Pannonia offers medical services at the highest level, and patients will be transported by Beechcraft King Air C90 aircraft.
Following market demands, Air Pannonia has recently decided to upgrade its VIP and medical transportation services with the introduction of another type of aircraft, Cessna Citation Jet CJ (C-525), into its fleet. This aircraft will allow for faster transportation of organs for transplant in cooperation with the European organization Eurotransplant.
