Virovitica: 309 Million Kuna Investment, 175 New Jobs

Good news for Virovitica as Agrotech plans to build a production facility with a ​​34,000 square metre area.

New job opportunities in one otherwise overlooked part of the country as Virovitica sees considerable investment in the town. 

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 2nd of March, 2018, Virovitica City Council have decided to adopt the decision on the sale of building plots in Entrepreneurial Zone III.

According to a report from Glas Slavonije, the Agrotech company is planning to construct a production facility on a total surface area of ​​34,000 square metres, which will consist of four production units, namely: the production of bio-fuel tanks, the production of machinery parts for the mill, as well as the production of bio-fertiliser and a wood industry, with a total of 175 new employees. The approximate value of the investment is about 390 million kuna, and the planned deadline for its implementation is October 2019.
