From Pula to Dubrovnik: Award Winning Films

Lauren Simmonds

The 68th Dubrovnik Summer Festival will screen some of the Pula Film Festival’s best international films this month.

As DuList reports on the 2nd of August, 2017, in continuance with the film program and in collaboration with the Dubrovnik Filmmakers, the 68th Dubrovnik Summer Festival will bring a great film selection from the Pula Film Festival’s international program down south to Dubrovnik’s Kino Jadran.

One popular title is the British crime drama ”Knife in our backs”, which is scheduled for today, followed by a French film on Friday the 4th of August. Both films screen at 21:30 on their respective dates.

Pula’s film festival is arguably the best loved film oriented event in Croatia, and it seems only right that some of the incredible international titles showcased in the Istrian town should have their place at Croatia’s most well known festival of arts, the Dubrovnik Summer Festival.

The film program will close with a Belgian-Dutch comedy ”The King of Belgium” on August the 19th. Tickets at the price of 30kn are available at the Festival Palace, Luza, and at the entrance one hour before screening. begins.
